December 2010: Month of Might

Finally my brethren be strong in the lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that ye may withstand the wiles of the devil (Eph 6:10).

There is great power or force in the might of the Almighty God. It is superior force to whatever satan, demons or men could muster and the Lord will give us this might this month in Jesus name.

Every force/power coming this month to test God’s power in us, shall be destroyed in Jesus Name.

In this holiday season, God who has kept us thus far this year will keep us from all evil and bring us safely and prosperously into the new year, in Jesus Name.

Have a merry Christmas and happy new year!!!

Pastor Chris Ogali

November 2010: Month of Power

Beloved,

Blessings to you in Christ Jesus our Lord who died and was raised from the dead (Rom 8:11) by the power of the Holy Ghost.

That same power of God is very much with us today, for those who believe.

As He who called us is holy (1Pet 2:9) and was baptized with the Holy Spirit and power and went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38) so likewise we who believe and are baptized by the Holy spirit, have been empowered to do exploits.

The power to prosper, be in good health, even as our soul prospers shall be multiplied to us, in this season in Jesus Name (3 John 2). We shall not suffer any short-circuit or power failure this season in Jesus Name.

Rather, God will take all the faithful, who know and trust their God, from glory to glory for His namesake.

Be connected as you attend church services always, read your bible, pray everyday and live holy.

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

October 2010: Month of Celebration

Beloved saints of God,

Greetings and may the joy of the Lord be our strength and may we celebrate and be celebrated in Jesus name.

The question arises why should we celebrate, particularly when there is so much around us that is saying otherwise.

As Christians, our God has instructed us to rejoice always (Phil 4:4) implying that, no matter what the enemy may say or do, nothing should take that inner joy of the Lord from us.

When we celebrate, we show forth the praises of our God, His goodness and His mercy to us who believe. The enemy is put to shame and God is pleased with our faith in Him, and He will show up for us in the nick of time. Halleluyah.

Remember Paul and Silas in prison (Acts 16:25-34) jailed for offenses they didn’t commit, who chose to celebrate God’s goodness in praise and prayer. God intervened for them, at midnight and delivered them by sending a prison-door-blasting-earthquake.

This month, God will show up in our situation too. Therefore let us celebrate that we are alive in Christ and not dead in trespasses, God’s fulfillment of His word in our lives (Jer 1:12), etc.

Let us count our blessings everyday and name them one by one and it will surprise us what the Lord has done. So celebrate the God from whom all blessings flow and be celebrated too.

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

September 2010: Month of Knowledge

Dearly beloved,

May the grace of our lord Jesus Christ be multiplied to us all and cause us to abound in the knowledge of Him in Jesus Name.

The bible says the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (Heb 2:14).

Our God desires that we seek to know him more and more and He will reveal Himself to us as we draw near to Him, (Jam 4:8) and seek Him with all our heart (Jer 29:13).
The knowledge of God is in His Word, for God is His Word who is Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Jn 1:1-18). The more of the Word of God we know, the more of God we know.

Knowledge by merely memorizing scripture only, though good, is not sufficient for our walk with Him. The knowledge of God and His word entails a delighting, meditating and walking experience in the word of God (Ps 1:2). This is what guarantees our good success and prosperity (Josh 1:8) and causes us to be fruitful in due season (Ps 1:3).

Herein lies our boast in our God, that we know Him, who is the God that exercises loving kindness, justice and righteousness (Jer 9:24). Our knowledge of Him delights our God.

May we therefore live our lives from this month of knowledge seeking to delight Him who has called us by glory and virtue (2Pet 1:3).

God bless you as you know Him more and more.

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

August 2010: Month of Counsel

Beloved in Christ,

Peace to you through Christ our Savior. May the blessed Holy Spirit, our Counselor, multiply to you an inheritance according to the whole counsel of the will of God (Eph 1:11) in this season in Jesus Name.

Rest assured you are not alone, in the struggle, for He said, “I will not leave you nor forsake you (Heb 13:5).

In this month of counsel, listen out for that still small voice within you, for the Lord will speak peace to His people (Ps 85:8) and we will not go back to folly.

Surely affliction shall not come your way a second time (Nah 1:9), for your expectation shall not be cut off (Prov 23:18).

Remember to keep in close fellowship with brethren of like faith ( Heb 10:25) attending church services and growing in wisdom as you hearken to the sweet voice of the counselor henceforth.

He knows the way through the wilderness and will surely lead you out of every trouble or torment.

Rejoice in the Lord always and don’t forget to share the testimonies of the sweet communion of the Helper/Counselor as we fellowship and grow in the grace of God. See you in church.

God bless you.

July 2010: Month of Understanding

Beloved,

May the Lord Jesus, the blessed Savior of the world be yours forevermore.

God is interested in His children walking in understanding of all life’s circumstances.

That is why He gave us the blessed Holy Spirit, to help us. Jesus, the Son of God, went back to heaven to be seated at the Father’s right hand, with us who believe, but He told us, He’ll not leave us comfortless, but He left the paracletus (Holy Spirit) to lead us into all truth and keep us fully informed of all we ought to know of life’s situations (Jn 16:13).

However, as He our helper, the blessed Holy Spirit, reveals and show us all things, we still need the understanding of that which has been revealed.

My prayer is that God will make each and everyone of us who believe Him, to be so filled with His understanding that we’ll become the Daniels of our time (Dan 2:16-22).

Therefore be filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18) everyday and may the spirit of understanding (Isa 11:2) grant you illumination and explanations of the mysteries of the kingdom of God unto all greatness in Jesus Name.

June 2010- The Month of Wisdom

WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING

Saints of God,

Greetings in His most holy name.

It is time to walk in the wisdom of God and not of men or of the world. For the godly wisdom we advocate is that which comes from heaven, even by the word of God (Prov 4:5-7).

It is not of men or earthy– with all its strifes, envy, self-seeking, confusion, lying etc (Jam 3:14-16). Rather, it is by the show of good conduct, through peace, gentleness, willingness to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and not hypocritical etc (Jam 3:17).

God desires us His children to walk in his wisdom, in all our doings. Ignorance is no excuse, particularly when it comes to the devices/wiles of the devil (2 Cor 2:11) who must never be allowed to trick or take advantage of us.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit, will teach us all things (1 John 2:20) and keep us well ahead of the enemy (1 John 2:27).

Let us use every opportunity that lands itself to us, to ask God for His wisdom, in all situations, for He alone is wise (Jude 25) even our Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory, majesty, dominion and power. Amen.

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali
